最近流行りのワックスバーを作ってみました。
ワックスバーは火をつけないアロマキャンドル。
I made DIY wax bar on the weekend.
Wax bar is basically a scented candle without the wick.
ワックスにドライフラワーなどを入れて、香りをつけます。
部屋に置いたりヒモを通してサシェのように使ったり。
ずっと作ってみたく、ワークショップもあるけど
家で簡単に作れそうだったから材料買って作ったよ。
You can put dried flowers and scents in wax,
and if you put string they can be used as sachet.
I've been wanting to make these and there are workshop but
it seemed very makable at home so I gave it a try.
キャンドルよりもお手軽に作れるところがいい！
I loved that it's a lot less work than making candles.
What you need/材料
ワックス(今回はソイ、みつろうを1:1) /Wax (I mixed soy and bees wax, 1:1)
ドライフラワーや押し花 /Dried flowers and whatever you want to put in your wax bar
エッセンシャルオイル / Scents
型(パレットやシリコン、アルミなどなんでも) /Mold (palette, baking mold, whatever works)
How to make/ 作り方
ワックスを溶かす
型にアロマオイルを数滴たらしワックスを流し
ドライフラワーを好きなように入れる
Heat the wax in a pot
Put a few drops in your mold and pour melted wax,
And then just decorate with dried flowers and plants.
Super easy!
固まるとワックスは真っ白くなるのでドライフラワーは浸からないように注意。
少しワックスが固まってきたぐらいでいいかも。
Wax becomes very white after it cool down,
Be careful not to let your flowers sink. Otherwise they will be hidden.
麻ひもを通して車に吊るしてるけど結構香って嬉しい！
また色々なドライフラワーを集めて作る〜！
I hung mine in my car and it smells really nice.
I'll be sure making more of these with different kind of flowers!
